If you can control it - we will support it. Superna can control devices and systems which are operated through TCP/IP, Infrared, Serial protocols, dry contact sensor devices, UPnP, Z-Wave and Instaeon products. - I am already using some home control/automation equipment. Can I connect it to Superna?
The Superna solution can integrate with all existing solutions that provide the ability to be controlled by 3rd party devices using available industry standards. - What type of Home automation scenarios can be triggered using Superna?
The number of automation scenarios that can be triggered is virtually limitless. Superna supports both event triggering and time scheduling, where the scheduling can be a relative schedule such as "half an hour before sunset" or every first Monday in the month at 7AM.
The scenarios may be personal security, comfort or energy and environment management tasks. They can be scenarios such as lightening, heating or even watering the lawn or more complex scenarios including media streaming and variable information.

Your Superna solution is bidirectional - you can get the status of any device or system that supports two-way communication, (ex. serial, USB and IP enabled devices). The system also keeps a record of the last command sent to infrared devices, this allows you to know what the last operation that was performed on a unidirectional device. - How many devices can I use in my Superna installation?
There is no limit to the number of devices or systems that can be connected to Superna. Our networking architecture allows you to add as many nodes as you would like, unlike the traditional home automation "server-like" architecture. - What type of interfaces does Superna support?
There are plenty of ways to interface with Superna:

Yes. Superna provides a "UPnP stack" for legacy products that are to connected within a Superna solution. In this way, legacy products become UPnP compatible. - Can I control Superna from my PC?
Yes, by installing our ControlWare™ software your PC will become a Superna interface. In addition, you will be able to connect devices directly to your PC's serial or USB ports if available, and also stream media to or from other computers. - How do I configure Superna?

No. The only infrastructure required to install Superna is a standard home network – wired or Wi-Fi. All of Superna's products are network capable, and can be connected to your existing home network. Wireless home networks can be installed in any home, making them Superna ready. - Can I use my existing equipment with Superna?
