Superna designs, develops and manufactures products and solutions for the Digital Home market. Established in May 2003, Superna is facing the challenge of overcoming the barriers of penetration for home automation into households. The company's mission is to become THE standard platform for tying different systems and devices into one digital home system, by developing and marketing standards-based software and hardware products that render home automation both affordable and accessible to the mass market.
The company's intuitive desktop software provides easy network configuration and management as well as personalized interface generation. Superna systems are easier to install and cost less than any other home automation solution.
The Superna system supports more industry standards than any other existing solution, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Z-wave, X10 and more. All SUPERNA products are also compatible with the UPnPTM standard specifications, insuring seamless interoperability with products of 770 member companies, including Yahoo's MusicMatch, Microsoft's MCE, AOL's Winmap and the SUPERNA Media Manager. Its browser based interface allows utilization of off-the-shelf devices as interface devices.
This, coupled with the system's vast interoperability and scalability, maximizes the Company's potential for attracting a broad-based market that addresses both industrial and consumer demand. SUPERNA is positioned at the intersection of several high-growth industries, including home automation, home networking, broadband, digital media, consumer electronics, home theater and embedded devices.
